So, most people know [and can't believe] that this little diva gave up shopping for lent. See, I do have self control! I don't know what's worse--this or crossing the desert. Either way, I successfully refrained from purchasing all things beautiful and fabulous for 40 days and 40 nights (so dramatic). Needless to say, the day after Easter I made my first purchase. One of my fashion crushes this Spring is definitely jean shorts. I am infatuated with these edgy little staples that belong in every girls wardrobe this season. They are perfect paired with a casual oversized top and aviators or a fedora as a finishing touch. Running errands never looked so good.

And the Countdown Begins...

One month from today, a fabulous suite downtown Charleston awaits me and 7 of my lovely girlfriends. I'm sure by then we will all be ready for a little getaway, and a fabulous one at that. Don't get me wrong--I love working-- but I have to admit looking out my huge office window at the blue sky and shining sun makes me a little more impatient to actually be enjoying it in my swimsuit with a cold beverage and good company. Needless to say, we. can't. wait.
